What started as a simple family recipe soon turned into something much bigger—people wanted to take home more than just the sandwiches; they wanted the secret sauce! Despite my rather obvious suggestion for the name, Bustard’s Mustard, my parents were initially hesitant. But once we started selling it, there was no turning back.
Known to be highly addictive, Bustard’s Mustard has become a local staple in delis and small grocers around Southern Alberta. Over the years, it has earned a loyal following, with fans who know exactly where to "get hooked up." One guest this past summer even declared that Bustard’s Mustard was ‘the best thing she had ever tasted,’ taking several jars halfway around the world.
